Great to meet our local community!
The aggregate we take from the Drury quarry is a key material in the building of homes, apartments, roads, and cycleways and infrastructure projects.
The current section of the quarry we are working in is nearing the end of its lifespan. With the population in Tāmaki Makaurau predicted to grow to 2.3 million by 2048 we’re going to need more aggregate.
So we’re looking to continue our work in the northern part of our site. This means more houses and better transport infrastructure can continue to be built.
We’re starting the process to get resource consent to expand into the northern part of our site, and we wanted to keep you, our local community, informed from the start.
Keeping informed on the quarry
